The Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange (CGSE) announced that due to the currently issuing Typhoon
Signal No. 8/ black rainstorm warning by the Hong Kong Observatory, the market operation measures
are arranged as follows:
➢ If the Typhoon Signal No. 8/ black rainstorm warning is still in effect at 8:00 am,
the Open Outcry market will be closed in the morning.
➢ If the Typhoon Signal No. 8 /black rainstorm warning is lifted before 12 noon,
the Open Outcry market will resume trading in the afternoon.

In observation of the day following National Day Holiday on 2nd October 2023 (Monday), the open outcry will be close the full day.

The electronic trading platform London Gold / Silver trading & OTC contracts registration service remains open.
