Typhoon Signal No. 8 Measures black rainstorm warning Announcement

The Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange (CGSE) announced that due to the currently issuing Typhoon
Signal No. 8/ black rainstorm warning by the Hong Kong Observatory, the market operation measures
are arranged as follows:
➢ If the Typhoon Signal No. 8/ black rainstorm warning is still in effect at 8:00 am,
the Open Outcry market will be closed in the morning.
➢ If the Typhoon Signal No. 8 /black rainstorm warning is lifted before 12 noon,
the Open Outcry market will resume trading in the afternoon.
➢ If the Typhoon Signal No. 8 /black rainstorm warning is still hoisted/effective after 12 noon,
the Open Outcry market will be closed for the full day.
❖ The London Gold/Silver electronic trading platform will be open the full day.
