On 31st December 2024, The Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society completed its century-old historical mission. Hong Kong Gold Exchange will officially be put into service on 1stJanuary 2025, providing exchange services to member and exchange participant.

In observation of the “The first day of January “on 1st January 2025 (Wednesday), the open outcry will be close the full day. It will be officially put into operation on 2ndJanuary 2025.

In observation of the Christmas Day on 25th December 2024 (Wednesday), the following Products trading time will be adjusted in the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange's (CGSE's) electronic trading platform.

In observation of the Christmas Holiday from 25th December 2024 (Wednesday) to 26th December 2024 (Thursday), the open outcry will be close the full day.

The electronic trading platform London Gold / Silver trading & OTC contracts registration service remains open on 26th December 2024 (Tuesday).

RMB Kilo Gold, Loco Silver 1, 999.9 Tael Gold trading & OTC contracts registration service is closed.

Important Announcement
The Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange (CGSE) announces that the "Hong Kong Gold Exchange" has been established and registered in June 2024. The Hong Kong Gold Exchange will commence operation on January 1st, 2025, replacing the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange's current operation in dealing with physical gold and silver trading.

In observation of the United States Thanksgiving Day on 28th November 2024 (Thursday), the following Products trading time will be adjusted in the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange's (CGSE's) electronic trading platform.

The Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange (CGSE) announced that due to Typhoon Signal No. 8(or above) being hoisted by the Hong Kong Observatory, the market trading arrangement is as follows:

1. Electronic Market
 Electronic trading platform remains open, all transactions continue as usual

2. Open Outcry market
 If Typhoon Signal No. 8(or above)/ Extreme Conditions remains effective at 8:00 am,
Open Outcry market will be close during morning session.

Due to United States will shift to Winter Time on 3 rd Novement, 2024 (Sunday), the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange's (CGSE's) electronic trading platform will change the trading schedules as below:

In observation of the Chung Yeung Festival Holiday Holiday on 11th October 2024 (Friday), the open outcry will be close the full day.
